1943
Ewald Schoeller, founder of the company, settles in Langerwehe after his expulsion from East Russia, and establishes "Ewald Schoeller GmbH & Co. KG“ in Langerwehe. He starts manufacturing paper products and threads at the site of a former pin factory.
1944
During the Second World War the company gets destroyed. Only the owner’s villa on the edge of the site can be reconstructed at the end of the war. All the other buildings have to be re-built entirely new.
1966
Ewald Schoeller GmbH is one of the first companies which manufacture "plastic containers" (today known as mouldings) in Germany. In Cooperation with BEKUM company a high modern production for hollow bodies rises which can manufacture up to 40 millions units per year in three shifts.
1975
Apart from the German speaking area the distribution extends to Belgium and the Netherlands.
1988
A new high-bay storage is built to come up to the increased requirements of our customers.
2004
The two companies Ewald Schoeller and Aldo-Plastik merge under the new name of SCHOELLER-ALDO GmbH & Co. KG.
2006
Investment in a microprocessor controlled blow moulding machine for the manufacturing of hollow bodies up to 8 litres.
2007
Partition of unity: To react more flexible to the needs of the market, the mouldings-department of SCHOELLER-ALDO becomes an independent subsidiary: aldoplast GmbH & Co. KG (http://www.aldoplast.com). The parent company with its paper- and film-production also gets a new, more international name: aldoplast GmbH & Co. KG.
